The best dining room chair cushions will not merely add a layer of comfort to the chair but depending on those that you choose they will add color and interest to the room.
Although foam has much better shape retention than some other cushion fillings and will perform better where the chairs/cushions are in constant use, always remember that thicker cushions can be harder to secure to your seat even with ties. You will not want to slide with your cushion when you go to sit on it. I prefer to look for cushions with a maximum of a 3” pad and complete with ties so that you will have more control over where the cushion goes as you sit.
With these preferences in mind I have included some of my favourites for you to consider.
These are pretty, colourful and well padded, nicely sewn with two ribbons at the back to enable fixing it to the back of the chair.Lovely comfortable cushions, very soft and with a thickness of just under 3 inches.
This seat pad will add height of 3.45" but it secures easily and safely with 4 safety straps that clip and fasten under the chair and it won't slip and slide around. The material can be removed using the zips for washing.
